  • • Constructed IoT simulator to perform end-to-end testing on qualifying firmware against elevator emergency phone systems to verify full functionality. Data piped to PostgreSQL database for further data cleansing and additional pipelines for visual dashboards displaying real-time alerts and status updates.
  • • Applied data analytics and machine learning models to historical data from elevator controllers to predict breakdowns. Training, fine-tuning, and live field tests reinforced a high confidence rate at .75 accuracy. Predictions from a single controller and callback type have an estimated savings of $60,000 a year.
  • • Programmed service to run and collect data from CB3/CB4s to analyze elevator trip behavior. All data reported to servers via MQTT and error code / sub-code messages. Data was further used to decrease non-communication module rates from 25% to 17.5% in SECs 150,000-unit portfolio within a year.
  • • Implemented rules logic for controller characteristics via code and subcodes in SAP NWDS. Each controller rule base is used to alert and flag errors into a remote monitoring platform to notify the support team and Schindler’s customers.
  • • Collaborated with INDU team to program and build emergency UPS replacement for HUAWEI battery hardware / firmware. UPS communicates through RS232 serial connection with event handling to adapt to all hardware malfunctions.
